USING A LADDER:

The ladder is used as a way to access a higher or lower point.

Its use as a workstation is legally limited to situations where use is low risk and of short duration.

 

BEFORE USE, ALWAYS CHECK THE LADDER:

> Has the scale been checked – Is there a correct coloured collar on the scale?

 

> Are the feet or rungs not deformed, broken, cracked?

 

> Are the pads in place and not worn?

 

> are there any traces of mud, liquids or grease on the rungs?

 

USING A BASKET:

This is strictly reserved for authorized persons.

Wearing a harness is mandatory in the basket. One person on the ground + marking out the work area.
