CONFINED SPACE

WHAT IS A CONFINED SPACE?

A totally or partially enclosed space, normally not intended for work (tank, silo, trench, etc.), which is difficult to access, in which there is or may be one or more dangers to the health or safety of workers, the risk of which is increased by the enclosed nature of said space.

 

 

> Prior to any entry into a confined space, a work permit must be drawn up:

 

> Gas detectors are available at maintenance or at the process office
