WHY?

The use of this type of machine involves numerous dangers, such as:

• Falling objects

• Machine reversal

• Risk of collisions or crushing

• Damage to parts of the installation

 

AS A MANAGER

I ensure that cranes, forklifts and lifting platforms are used only by trained and qualified employees.
They must be properly authorized.
I make sure that these machines are used safely and I report any danger.
A flagger ("banksman") must be employed in areas with restricted visibility.

 

AS A WORKER

I only use cranes, forklifts and lifting platforms if I am trained and authorized.
I respect the rules for safe use.
I secure the machines to prevent any unauthorized use.
I do not pass under suspended loads and I do not enter marked areas.
